The Arizona Renaissance Festival celebrates it's 30th Anniversary. It first started as a 9-acre village and has transformed over the years into a 30 acre medieval playground with 13 different stages and an Jousting Tournament that seats 5,000 spectators.

There is only one more weekend to enjoy the festival. March 31 and April 1 is the last weekend. The festival is hosting a canned food drive. They are encouraging people to bring 3 canned food items or non-perishables to the Apache Junction food bank table to receive a free child (ages 5-10) admission ticket ($16).

Tips for enjoying the festival from the experts: Wear comfortable shoes, bring sunscreen, bring cash (activities and food start around $3), look at the entertainment schedule before hand, but don't feel like you have to follow a set schedule enjoy your experience and if something peaks your interest go with it. Huzzah!
